Dr. Vikash Salig
Dr. Vikash Salig is a Partner with Rosenzweig & Company. He brings leadership and strategic capabilities in Life Sciences and broader Healthcare within the practice.
Prior to joining Rosenzweig & Company, Vikash spent 15 years in various leadership positions in pharmaceutical/healthcare companies with geographical experience in North America, Europe, Africa and South East Asia. Seven of those years were in the capacity as CEO of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories (South Africa), which was a joint venture between Dr. Reddy’s and a pharmaceutical company that Vikash started in 2003. He spent the first 10 years of his career as a practicing medical doctor with a special interest in Psychiatry.
His functional experience in pharmaceuticals and healthcare encompasses entrepreneurial start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, international business development, leadership, strategy, sales and marketing, and general management. Over the span of 25 years, he has developed a compelling network of progressive executives across the globe.
His knowledge of clinical medicine complements his understanding and experience in broader executive management within Life Sciences.
Vikash is an accomplished international presenter and has delivered speeches and white papers at various local and international conferences. He chaired the World Generic Medicines Conferences in London, UK and Washington DC on 3 separate occasions with the Honorable Congressman Henry Waxman as keynote speaker.
In addition to his medical degrees, Dr. Salig completed an Advanced Management Program in Health through the Manchester Business School in the UK (1998) and an MBA degree from the University of Cape Town, South Africa (1999). Vikash is an avid amateur golfer and is closely and actively involved with the Autism Foundation spearheaded by World Golf Hall of Famer, Ernie Els.
Vikash completed an accredited Neuroscience based Executive Coaching program at Harvard (2014). He was inducted into the African American Golfers Hall of Fame (2015).
