BRAHM BRAUNSTEIN
Principal

Brahm Braunstein is a principal in our New York office. He has a diverse financial services background, rooted in governance, compliance and legal.

He has spent the bulk of his career on Wall Street, working at senior levels for such entities as CIBC, Barclays and UBS. Brahm has worked for bulge bracket firms as well as smaller boutique and self-regulatory organizations. He has experience on both the broker dealer and the bank side of financial firms.

Brahm has experience working both in the U.S. as well as internationally, primarily in Europe and Canada. Brahm has worked with companies that needed to build up from the bottom in terms of compliance culture as well as new systems to provide for monitoring and surveillance. Braham’s understanding and expertise of the governance function allows him to fully appreciate the importance of this area for all businesses.

Brahm earned his B.A. in Economics from McGill University in Montreal. He earned his JD in law from Benjamin Cardozo School of Law and then went on to complete a Masters in Banking Law at Boston University School of Law.
