DAVID PASIEKA

Mr. Pasieka’s executive leadership experience spans many of Canada’s leading technology
companies including Bell Canada, CNCP Telecommunications, UniTel, MetroNet
Communications, AT&T Canada, 724 Solutions, Oasis Technology, eFunds International,
Iseemedia, Bulrush Clean Energy and Luxell Technologies. David consults early stage
technology companies in turnaround or growth strategies under the banner of his
consulting company Cedarvue Partners. His recent focus has been on high potential
companies in the Clean Tech sector including Blue Sky Solar, Bulrush Clean Energy and
Zerofootprint Software – organizations concerned about carbon emissions in a climate
change economy.

David Pasieka is currently engaged as an Entrepreneur In Residence (EIR) at the RICCentre
a commercial innovation centre affiliated with MaRS Discovery District. MaRS is a
not for profit organization focused on stimulating innovation to accelerate the creation of
successful Canadian enterprises.

Mr. Pasieka has led many world-class organizations through successful turnaround and
revitalization, mergers and acquisitions. His tenacity and willingness to embrace change
head on, has earned him respect amongst his peers. He has seamlessly integrated people,
policies, and processes in order to reduce down time and encourage the steady growth of
the organizations he serves.

With experience in Europe, Middle East, Asia and North America as well as executive
expertise including Sales, Marketing, Integration, Operations and Customer Delight, he
has integrated his expertise in a variety of disciplines and marketplaces.

Mr. Pasieka’s board experience consists of chairing the Audit Committee of Iseemedia
(TSX-V) – a Canadian Wireless Software company, and the HR committee of Luxell
Technologies (TSX) – a Canadian Aerospace company from 2005 to July 2008. Mr.
Pasieka also sits on the Board of Oakville Hydro and Echo Logics. He is also a member
of the faculty of the McMaster Directors College & Not-For-Profit Governance Institute
where he lectures on director selection/ evaluation, climate change and corporate social
responsibility (CSR).

Mr. Pasieka earned a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) from the University of Waterloo,
Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from the Schulich School of Business –York
University and his Chartered Director (CDir) designation from McMaster University.
Living in Oakville for the past 25 years, Mr Pasieka has developed a sense of community at
home. In his free time he enjoys time on the golf course or ski slopes with his family and
friends.
