PAUL GOLDMAN
Paul offers over 17 years of leadership experience
providing information technology (IT)
infrastructure solutions to both large and small
clients. He is currently CEO & founder of
ITMethods, a business that operates and manages
client networks and servers.
Prior to founding ITMethods, Paul was President of
Rose Capital Group, a division of
The Rose Corporation (a merchant bank located in
Toronto). Paul successfully led the
development and implementation of Rose’s mezzanine
portfolio syndications program. In
the first year, the program raised $23 million for
two Rose portfolios with a total value of
just under $50 million and Paul developed a high
net-worth investor network for future
Rose offerings.
An experienced operator, Paul is the former General
Manager of TELUS National Systems
and Vice President of TELUS Communications. TELUS
National Systems was formed
through the merging of Arqana Technologies (a
company Paul founded) and Williams
Communications into TELUS.
Prior to the acquisition of Arqana by TELUS, Paul
spent 14 years successfully building his
company from its humble beginnings in 1988. Over the
years, Arqana grew to become
one of Canada’s leading mission critical IT
infrastructure solution providers. Before the
acquisition by TELUS, sales and earnings had grown
to $70 million and $5 million
respectively. In 1998 and 1999, Arqana was
recognized as one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed
Private Companies.
Throughout his career, Paul has been an investor and
advisor in both early stage and
established businesses. He is a Founding 100 member
of National Angel Organization and
maintains an advisory role in a private equity fund.
