JAY TAKEFMAN

Jay Takefman has over 12 years of experience working in private equity and investment banking. Most recently Mr. Takefman worked as a Principal for Centre Partners, a New York-based middle market fund with almost $3.0 billion of assets under management.

Prior to Centre Partners, Mr. Takefman worked at Catterton Partners, one of the leading consumer-focused private equity firms. Mr. Takefman has had significant food and beverage experience having most recently served on the Board of Distant Lands (a leading private label coffee company).

Mr. Takefman's firms during his tenure have also worked on numerous food and beverage transactions where he has developed deep relationships with many of the executive teams at the respective companies. These transactions/portfolio companies include: Bumblebee Seafoods (d/b/a Connors Brothers), Odwalla (sold to Coke), Baja Fresh, Garden Fresh, Old Mother Hubbard (pet food) and Kettle Chips.
